On the day following Veterans Day in 2013, Iowa Governor Terry Branstad declared a new mission, focusing on employing veterans after their service has ended. Home Base Iowa is a public-private partnership connecting veterans with jobs in Iowa.
O'Brien County became a Home Base Iowa Community October 27, 2015. We offer incentives and welcome our country's veterans to relocate here when their service has been completed and they are looking forward to starting the next chapter.
The O'Brien County employment application is available through the link above. Please print, fill out and return your application to our office at O'Brien County Economic Development Corp., PO Box 616, Primghar, Iowa 51245-0616.
