Who
We Are
The Sheriff's Office has four
main divisions: Administration, Uniform, Communications and
Jail. The current office is located at 240 1st Street N.E. in
Primghar, Iowa.
Administration includes
Civil Process, gun permits. liquor license approvals, and sex
offender registrations.
The Uniform Division
includes narcotics, crimes against persons and property,
crime prevention and general traffic patrol.
The Communications Division
handles all 911 emergency and non-emergency calls for service
within both the rural unincorporated areas and the cities
within the county.
The Jail Division
handles all inmate bookings and releases from jail. They also
provide transportation and supervision of inmates to and from
the courts.
