The O’Brien County Conservation Board announces a new opportunity for camping patrons at Dog Creek South. Eleven sites located at Dog Creek Park South have been designated for seasonal camping.

Sites will be leased on a seasonal basis from May 1, 2014 until October 1, 2014. Five sites include electric, water, sewer and a cement pad will be available for $1800 for the season. Six sites include electric, water and a gravel pad will be available for $1500 for the season. The fees will be collected in advance, and there will be no sub-lease options available.

Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to the O’Brien County Conservation Board, 4931 Yellow Ave, Peterson IA 51047 prior to April 1, 2014. Names will be collected and a lottery system will be used to establish individuals to whom the sites will be offered. The Conservation Board has a right to reject leasers and regular campground rules will remain in place.
