Don's Auto Service, Inc. Updating Sanborn's Car Wash

Primghar, Iowa, January 13, 2014 –Sanborn’s car wash is undergoing a renovation. Owners Tim Brinkman and Brent Elgersma are in the process of updating the car wash, accessible from Highway 18 at 412 W. 7th Street. The updates include insulation and a new automatic car wash bay that will use laser technology to make it more efficient. This automatic bay will also have a new card reading machine installed with technology that enables remote troubleshooting. In addition to the new equipment in the automatic bay, the two hand wash bays are being updated with all new equipment which includes a credit/debit card machine and foam brushes.

The O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation (OCEDC) is pleased to be a partner in this project through an O’Brien County Revolving Fund Loan. Tim and Brent, who have owned the car wash for the past 6 years, are excited to bring a modernized and enhanced car wash service to Sanborn.
