A Small Turn Out For The Waterman Creek Prowl Yields A BIG Find!
July 16, 2013
Congratulations Norm Hill, of Sutherland, Iowa, for finding a Bison Skull along the Waterman Creek on Saturday’s Waterman Creek Prowl! Like all rivers and creeks, with each high water condition the river or creek seems to take on a life of its own, moving things downstream or unearthing items that have been buried for decades or even a century or more ago. There’s always something going on in the Prairie!
Our next event is the Summer Prairie Prowl on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. You won’t want to miss all of the wonderful prairie flowers that show their faces on the Hannibal Waterman Prairie! Meet at the Prairie Heritage Center at 7:00 P.M.
Dress accordingly, as we will be out on the prairie.
