Paradox

Description: Situated on the east side of Sanborn’s south Main Street, Paradox occupies a structure built as a roller skating rink in 1884 and two years later converted to O’Brien County Bank. The two levels of the interior are as varied as the building’s history; nooks and crannies are filled with new, used and antique items all looking for a good home. Whether it be a tablecloth and napkins or an old lobster trap, you might find it among the live green plants and fresh flowers at Paradox. The business is in its 50th year, 38 under the present management and there is always something new (or old) just around the next corner! The hours are Wednesday-Thursday-Friday 9-4:30 and they would love to have you stop by.
