Northwest Iowa Manufacturers Partner with Northwestern Iowa Community College and Northwest Iowa Development

At Northwest Iowa Community College's Manufacturing Lab amongst lathes and manufacturing tools on Thursday, November 29, 2018, Northwest Iowa Regional Manufacturing Partnership (The Partnership) announced plans to partner with Northwest Iowa Community College and Northwest Iowa Development in their goal of reaching out to educators and students of Northwest Iowa. The Northwest Iowa Regional Manufacturing Partnership consists of 11 manufacturing companies through Northwest Iowa that have partnered with Northwest Iowa Development and Northwest Iowa Community College. The partnership companies include AIM Aerospace, Diamond Vogel, Demco, DTI-Sudenga Industries, Dur-A-Lift, Link Manufacturing, Maintainer Corporation, Rosenboom, Midwest Pro Manufacturing, Post Equipment, and Valley Machining.

The Partnership aims to give students in NW Iowa the tools and knowledge-base to make manufacturing an appealing career choice that will solidify Iowa's future workforce. In order to achieve this goal, a new Manufacturing Career Coach position has been created.
