Solsma's Punkin Patch Expands with New Building, Fireworks Sales
Jay and Amy Solsma, owners of Solsma’s Punkin Patch, have expanded at their current location, 6190 320th Street, Sanborn. This expansion includes a new building that has been constructed just west of their current facility. The new location will provide more retail space for their Iowa products, including their own home grown popcorn, beef, pumpkins, gourds and squash, and will be handicap accessible. Jay and Amy are excited to be able to add a new product this year. Due to a change in Iowa law, they will be able to sell fireworks each year from June 1 through July 8 and December 10 through January 3. O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation (OCEDC) and Sanborn Electric and Telecommunications Utility are excited to be partners in this business expansion through an O’Brien County RLF Loan and a Sanborn RLF Loan respectively.
